Honouring Issey Miyake and inspired by Shibori folds, Asami uses a specialised weaving process to create permanent almost three-dimensional pleats. The effect is both geometric and dissolved, a folded and shadowy play of light in a silky, sensuous sheer. Elegant and sartorial in black, intense in burgundy red, sexy in lipstick red and subtle in champagne, pale blue and lemon.
